This page is dedicated to
the many ghost towns in Utah. I have listed all the ghost towns
that
I have personally visited and will continue to update the page as time
goes on. Provided with each town is a brief history and map.
Along with each map is a small picture of Utah showing the section and
county where the town is located. The maps are printer friendly,
so you can easily print them out and take them with you on your treks.
Enjoy and remember -
Take nothing but pictures.
Leave nothing but footprints.
You can click on any of the towns below to go to detailed
text and map information -
or you can go to a MAP to choose towns by
geographical locations.
Ghost Towns
Semi Ghost Towns
Semi ghost towns are towns that thrived in the past, but are still inhabited. However, their purpose for establishment has since faded. An example would be Park City, established as a mining town. People still live there, but mining no longer supports the town. The semi ghost towns typically have many old original buildings in various stages of decay or many of them have been restored.

I have rated the ghost towns by stars. 1 star being the least and 5 stars being the most. This rating is my personal opinion showing if a ghost town is worth the visit. I rate the towns based on the amount of uninhabited, intact structures and ruins left, and how photogenic the town is.
